Job Opening - PMO Administrator
As of July 16, 2026
Over the summer, we have had two staff departures at St. Luke’s:
Alex O’Sullivan (Faith Formation Assistant) - left in May to be full-time mom
Zach Gonring (Campus Minister) - leaving for diocesan seminary end of July
(more details below)
With the loss of staff in these roles, we are looking to hire new staff. This also has given us an opportunity to evaluate staff structure needs, which has led to the decision to search for a new parish staff role: Parish Management & Operations Administrator
Here is the rationale behind this new staff hire:
Ideally we would have both a Campus Minister & a PMO Admin
Most parishes have a staff member taking care of operations, ours has fallen primarily on the pastor, who now is also the Diocesan Vocations Director
PREVIOUS GOAL: Development Director —> Campus Minister —> Operations Manager
NEW GOAL: Development Director —> Operations Manager —> Campus Minister
The plan is to hire this PMO Administrator role first, to help create a well-structured parish & free up the pastor’s availability, and then eventually hire a Campus Minister at some point down the line. Not having a Campus Minister is hopefully just a temporary reality.
What does the PMO Administrator job entail?
Administration & operations of parish
Projects, calendars, structures, communication, events, HR, committees, etc.
Taking a lot off Fr. Rob’s desk, freeing him to do more ministry
What does this mean for campus ministry?
Temporarily no Campus Minister, but hopefully eventually
Re-distributing tasks, still have FOCUS Missionary team on staff
Zach has set students up well for student leadership
The goal is you don’t need a Campus Minister, a CM’s job is always to “lose their job” because they have equipped the students well enough to no longer need someone to do it for them - because we’re launching student leaders
The PMO Administrator job posting will be live on the diocese website.

Zach Gonring, our current Campus Minister, will be entering seminary formation for the Diocese of Grand Rapids, beginning this August. Zach has served as the Campus Minister here for the past four years, and will maintain St. Luke’s as his home parish as a seminarian.
To honor Zach for his time here, and to send off our new parish seminarian, there will be cake after the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, July 26th.
