Giving Tuesday at St. Luke!
Giving Tuesday: December 2nd
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to supporting nonprofits around the world.
Here at St. Luke, Giving Tuesday allows us to complete projects that make our parish a more vibrant and transformative place of God’s presence.
Last year we successfully raised $26,000 to finish the snowmelt system! Due to the generosity of people like yourself, the boiler was recently installed and the system is running just in time for winter.
This year we are looking to raise money for two projects to intentionally beautify the grounds of St. Luke!
Cross for the Roof of St. Luke
The second portion of the campaign will be set aside for building a cross on top of St. Luke! Funding from the campaign will be used to hire an architect to make a comprehensive plan and take the first steps towards construction. The first stage of the project will begin after the completion of the Marian Grotto.
Marian Grotto Launching Fund: $20,000
The first portion of the Giving Tuesday campaign will help build an outdoor Marian grotto enshrining Our Lady in reverence and beauty! The project is already in the beginning stages and a beautiful stone statue was recently gifted to the parish. Funding from Giving Tuesday will be used to restore the statue to its incredible value and construct the grotto on the grounds outside the church. The project is set to be completed during the summer of 2026 as a place of prayer for our parishioners and college students.
During this Thanksgiving season, it is appropriate for us who have been given so much to return our thanks to the Lord. Last year over 70 households from St Luke participated in the project to finish the snowmelt system. Let’s continue this heroic history of generosity and join Fr. Rob in his efforts to beautify the grounds of St. Luke by donating this Giving Tuesday!
Please donate online using the link below or by making a check payable to St. Luke University Parish with Giving Tuesday in the memo line.
