My soul thirsts for you O’ Lord

Whether it’s the lines of students seeking confession with Fr. Rob, the wildly popular Laker Catholic nights, or one of the many conversations with our FOCUS Missionaries, it's no secret that Campus Ministry at St. Luke is growing. Every year, hundreds of students walk through the doors of St. Luke seeking community and a place to encounter the Lord here at GVSU.

This year, over 280 students have come to these Bible studies during the first semester alone. 

Last year we saw 240 students attend our FOCUS Bible studies.

The excitement is contagious and St. Luke is casting the vision larger than ever before. Over the next two weeks before Christmas, Fr. Rob and the Campus Ministry team are seeking to raise $40,000 in year-end contributions by launching the first ever Advent Match Campaign. 

In some sense, the goal is ambitious, in another sense it's merely a start when thinking of the thousands of students at GVSU still waiting to encounter the Lord. All of this growing excitement at St. Luke is contagious:

recently a number of generous donors have volunteered to match the first $20,000 given this Advent dollar for dollar.
