St. Luke University Parish Food Pantry and Jenison Meijer Partner Up!

Our St. Luke’s Food Pantry is blessed to partner with the Jenison Meijer for their SimplyGive program! We are given a specific set of dates (updated dates are listed below) when customers can take a SimplyGive donation card (not a Meijer gift card) from the vestibule at St. Luke or from a kiosk near the manned and self-serve checkout areas at Meijer and purchase it at the Jenison Meijer. Once purchased, the donation is converted into a Meijer Food-Only Gift Card and donated directly to our St. Luke’s food pantry. Meijer customers shopping online can add this to their orders as well.

So.. what’s a “Double Day”?

On “Double Days”, for every purchase, Meijer will DOUBLE your donation!
So, if YOU donate $10, Meijer will donate $20 - providing our food pantry with a $30 donation!

MISS A DOUBLE DAY? You can also give directly to our St. Luke's Food Pantry by donating online or putting it in the collection basket marked for the food pantry. The money donated to the pantry helps them purchase items needed for the pantry.

Additionally, the Food Pantry also uses directly donated funds from the food pantry account to purchase Meijer SimplyGive cards on "Double Days". So if you've MISSED a double day, but want to contribute financially to the food pantry, consider donating to them directly - they will take care of allocating those donations on the next "Double Day" at Meijer to help your contribution to make the greatest impact.
